Who Is Bear On The Road?
I am a late 30 something guy who is just making his way through life the best way he knows how. Being married with two kids (both of which are teens), going to school full time and holding down a job takes up most of what little time I have. When I am able to squeeze out some time away from all that I love the outdoors, riding my motorcycle, photography and exploring.
This blog is here so that can share some of the adventure (and more often than not misadventures) of both myself and my family. You can look forward to hearing stories about myself, my husband (The Hubby), my daughter (The Girl) and my son (The Boy). These choices of names are not there to be an identity tag or to degrade anyone. It is just the easiest way for identify them and keep their anonymity the best way I know how.
What Will You Talk About?
Well, almost anything and EVERYTHING! There is really no topic that I feel is off limits. There will be some filtering of course from time to time but, as in real life, there will be things here that may make both you and myself uncomfortable. If I was to leave these things out, then this would not be a true glimpse into what my world is like.
Is There Anything That I Need To Know About This Blog?
Not really. Follow a few simple rules in the comment section; if you like what you read, tell and share with your friends, and just enjoy. Although, in the spirit of full disclosure, I (and any future admins) do reserve the right to delete and/or remove any content from the comment sections that is deemed cruel, uncivilized, or overtly offensive for the sake of trolling. I am all for civil discourse and discussion. BUT there is a key word there and that is CIVIL!!!
Rules? What Are These Rules?
I have two main rules: 1. Don’t be a dick! And 2. Well…don’t be a dick! Not too hard, right?
Nope! That is about it. I am sure that there will be other things that pop up in the future but again, that is life. PLEASE feel free to reach out to me with questions, comments or suggestions of things that you would like me to talk about. You can do that in the comment section or on the “Contact” page. So, with that being said, read what you like, check back often and enjoy. Who knows what we will come across on this new adventure.
